FXB Launches Spring Tudor Offers

Although these past years have seen FXB increasingly venturing into the field of contemporary furniture with the constant launch of successful lines of furniture such as living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and office furniture, the Tudor range of classic reproduction furniture that has helped FXB carve a unique niche in the local and export markets, continues to remain one of the strongest selling products.

The first day of spring in fact brings with it the start of FXB’s Spring Tudor Offers whereby customers will be enjoying 20% discount on all the Tudor range of furniture, the only Tudor period reproduction furniture manufactured in Malta.

FXB has been designing and producing the Winchester Oak Tudor range for these past years and appreciation towards this line of furniture was a major factor in the success of the FXB Group amongst a segment of people who are after a style that is classical and more enduring. However, notwithstanding the rather ‘conservative’ style, more and more people, including the younger generation of customers, are appreciating the validity and prestige of the Tudor range. Thanks to its timelessness, the Tudor line is considered as a life investment, the antiques of tomorrow.

FXB’s Winchester Oak Tudor range is inspired by the classic furniture that knows its origin to the Tudor and Elizabethan period which reached its peak throughout a hundred and fifty year span from 1450 to 1600. It is easily recognizable from its three trademark door motifs namely, the Abbey linenfold motif, the Windsor motif and the Stratford motif.

The Spring Tudor Offers will be offered from the Prestige by FXB showroom in Msida, the showrooom which houses the more classic style furnitureas opposed to the Nouvelle by FXB showroom in Qormi which displays all the brands of contemporary furniture. The range includes hall furniture, main bedrooms, including a four-poster bed, dining rooms, studies, bookcases, and displays, living room furniture, occasionals and more.

Produced entirely of imported American oak timber and veneers, this range features extensive and intricate carved motifs that are faithful to the designs of the Tudor period. Solid oak is used throughout the range, especially where carving is featured. The result is furniture built to last, with a character that is bound to be enhanced by the passage of time.

The Tudor range was designed by the renowned British designer Roger Albrow for export to the UK market, a market where reproduction furniture is still in great demand. As in the UK, this range achieved an immediate success amongst discerning customers who immediately appreciated the detail and quality in the craftsmanship. The Winchester Oak range, produced by FXB at its manufacturing plants in Gozo and Malta, is a registered brand that mirrors the demanding challenges of modern reproduction manufacture.

The Spring Tudor Offers will run for the coming three weeks at Prestige by FXB at the Emoprium in Rue d’Argens, Msida. The showroom is open Monday to Friday between 9.00am to 1.00pm and from 4.00 to 7.00pm and Saturday mornings only.
