As soon as the company upgraded its manufacturing potential with the new factory in the 1970’s its products started being sold directly to clients outside the limited market of the small island of Gozo. Soon the need was felt to open our first showroom on the island of Malta. That happened in 1982. A few years later a larger showroom was rented. As the demand for FXB's products increased, the company started developing a nearby site at Rue D'Argens in Msida - the FXB Emporium - having an area of 5000m², which was opened to the public in October 1994.
The new showroom at Mdina Road Qormi, has given the company the opportunity to rebrand its products on the local market. The Emporium now contains FXB’s Prestige lines with traditional solid wood featuring prominently catering mostly for the classical taste. The Nouvelle brand, that is housed at the new Qormi showroom, is presenting to our clients high-end design and modern furniture. Natur, based in our showrooms at the pedestrian area of Gozo’s capital, offers collections rustic furniture.
In these showrooms one can find extensive furniture lines manufactured by the Group's companies which are complemented by an array of imported products. Quality is the hallmark of all our ranges.
In the export sector, FXB Group has exported for long periods wooden fire surrounds to the UK, apart from kitchen cabinet doors in solid wood. A recent development is the marketing of a range of solid oak Tudor furniture to the UK More recently the Group is exporting hotel furniture to exclusive hotels mostly in Europe but also in North Africa.
